Chase Lawley is a young right-hander with a live arm and developmental upside for Richmond
Lawley is a 5-foot-10 right-handed pitcher who arrived at Richmond after a prep career at Hoover High and made his Spider debut on the mound in 2026 against No. 14 NC State, giving him early-game experience against top competition.[2][3] His profile suggests a projection-based fit: compact frame, pitcher’s role, and enough arm strength to draw attention as he develops, but he is still early in his college career and does not yet have a college stat line available.[3] If your team wants a coachable arm with room to grow rather than finished-product production, he is worth monitoring.[3]
