Blake Schlegel brings size, experience, and transfer-pop to CMU’s offensive line
Blake Schlegel, a 6-6, 320-pound senior from Nebraska, arrived at Central Michigan after starring at Concordia (Neb.) and has been noted by CMU as a transfer who “played great football” and has integrated well into the scheme. In the 2025 season, he was part of a position group competing for snaps, giving CMU a massive, experienced lineman with clear power and length advantages. He looks like a sturdy fit for a team that wants a battle-tested, physical blocker rather than a raw project.
