Logan Young brings swing-and-miss upside, but 2026 has been a rougher run
Logan Young is a right-handed starter for Abilene Christian who showed real promise in the 2025 season, going 3-0 with a 2.83 ERA, 33 strikeouts in 28.2 innings, and a 1.22 WHIP in six starts[5][8]. In 2026, though, the results have been shakier: he had a 10.91 ERA across 15.2 innings with 8 strikeouts and 7 walks, suggesting his stuff can still miss bats but his command and contact management have been inconsistent[1]. He looks like a good fit for a staff that values starter upside and development, especially if it can help sharpen his strike-throwing and keep the ball off barrels[2][5].
