Brendan Hamlin is UAPB’s composed late-innings arm
In the 2026 season, Brendan Hamlin emerged as a trusted right-handed reliever for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, with multiple wins in relief and a stretch of run-stopping outings that included four strikeouts in two scoreless innings against Mississippi Valley State and four more dominant innings in a win over Grambling[7][13]. He looks like a grinder who competes in the zone, works in high-leverage spots, and can steady a game when the Lions need a calm hand—useful if your staff wants a mature, battle-tested arm rather than pure radar-gun fireworks[4][7][9].
