veteran North Dakota guard with proven shot-making and steady floor leadership
Caleb Nero is a seasoned North Dakota guard whose best trait is dependable offensive feel: he’s shown he can score in bunches, create for teammates, and punish defenses from the perimeter, with standout games that included 17, 20, and 23 points in 2021-22. In the 2021-22 season, he also hit free throws at 80.6% and averaged 7.5 points per game, a useful sign of composure in late-game spots. His fit comes down to basketball IQ, shot selection, and experience—he’s the kind of guard who can stabilize a rotation and make the game cleaner for everyone around him.
