FGCU’s steady, physical two-way glue guy
In the 2025-26 season, Michael Duax was a durable veteran for FGCU, playing in every game and starting 25 of 28 while averaging 7.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 steals on 51.9% shooting; he also added 15 dunks, second-most on the team. He’s more than a box-score line: FGCU described him as a key vocal leader, and his 4.0 GPA plus biology major/medical-school plans signal the kind of high-character, high-IQ fit coaches love. He looks like a reliable, physical frontcourt piece who brings effort, toughness and leadership.
