South Dakota freshman Charlotte Morgan brings versatile infield value and winning-track pedigree
Charlotte Morgan enters South Dakota as a **5'7" infielder** with listed value as a **Pitcher/1B** coming out of Legend High School, giving the Coyotes a multi-position option rather than a one-tool recruit.[3][6] Her profile suggests a player whose appeal is **versatility**, roster flexibility, and competitive reliability, and South Dakota notes she was an **Academic First Team All-State** honoree in 2022, 2023, and 2024, plus an Honor Roll student in each of those years.[9] She looks like a good fit for a team that prizes adaptable, coachable pieces with upside beyond the box score.[3][9]
