Yale freshman OL Sam Connelly brings athletic, physical upside
Connelly entered Yale as a freshman offensive lineman with a strong high-school résumé and early buzz for his athleticism, quick feet, and physical run-blocking temperament. Yale lists him at 6'4", 255 pounds, and his recruiting/profile notes highlight all-state honors, two state titles, and a reputation for a high motor and strong leg drive. He did not see game action in 2025, so the case for him is projection: if you want a young lineman who can move well, pull effectively, and play with edge, he looks like a developmental fit.
