Duke’s chain-moving WR who erupted for 1,106 yards
In the 2025 season at Duke, Cooper Barkate became a true breakout weapon, finishing with 72 catches for 1,106 yards and 7 touchdowns while earning second-team All-ACC honors. His calling card is downfield efficiency and separation: he averaged 15.4 yards per catch in 2025, and multiple game logs show repeated big-play production, not just volume. The fit? He looks like a polished, trustworthy receiver who can win from the slot or outside, has already proven he can handle a featured role, and brings the kind of route-running reliability coaches love.
