Thomas Allen emerged as a breakout late-inning arm for Louisiana Tech
Allen’s freshman season for Louisiana Tech was built on miss-bats and leverage, posting a 3.54 ERA, 49 strikeouts in 48.1 innings, five saves, and a .195 opponent average across 19 appearances in 2026. [5] He was trusted in relief early, earned Second Team Freshman All-America honors, and showed the kind of poise and strike-throwing profile that makes a bullpen fit especially attractive for teams needing a dependable right-handed setup or closer candidate.
