Mason Dean brings loud tools and immediate impact to Fordham’s outfield
In the 2026 season, Fordham freshman outfielder Mason Dean flashed a high-ceiling bat and real run-producing juice, earning Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week after hitting .533 with 7 RBI, 7 runs, 2 doubles, a homer and 3 steals across five games. He followed that with multiple extra-base-hit games, including a 4-for-6, 4-RBI outing with a homer against St. Bonaventure. The 6-foot-4 lefty hitter also showed speed, versatility in all three outfield spots, and a clutch edge—good fit for a team wanting athleticism, offense, and upside.
