Ryan Gold is Kennesaw State’s big, left-handed workhorse with strikeout upside
In the 2025 season, Gold gave Kennesaw State a durable left-handed arm, logging 52.2 innings with 57 strikeouts across 18 appearances, and he has already shown he can miss bats in bunches, including an 8-strikeout outing against Middle Tennessee. He’s a 6-foot-4, 207-pound southpaw with starter traits, competitive experience, and enough pitchability to handle multiple roles; the tradeoff is some volatility, as his 2026 results have been more mixed so far. If you want a physical LHP who can flash swing-and-miss stuff and has room to keep trending up, he’s a name worth caring about.
