Addison Baxter is Butler’s pass-first freshman with a poised, all-around floor game
In the 2025-26 season, Addison Baxter has carved out a real early role for Butler by averaging 5.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.8 steals in 19.1 minutes per game, while shooting 43.6% from the field and 77.4% at the line. She was described by Butler coach Austin Parkinson as “one of the best passing point guards in the entire country,” and her high-school résumé backs up the claim: 1,859 career points, 523 assists and 478 steals. She looks like a smart fit for teams that value tempo, playmaking and disruptive defense.
