Elite Freshman Catcher Sweeping Titles with Idaho State
McKenna Schab, a 2026 freshman catcher for Idaho State Bengals, is a high-intensity differentiator who brings NFCA Region III First Team and Idaho All-State honors from her 2025 high school season (where she hit .417 with 35 RBIs) to the college level. While her 2026 stats show a .200 average with 1 RBI in limited action, her true value lies in her defensive leadership, championship mentality (helping secure back-to-back Big Sky regular season and tournament titles in 2026), and unwavering team pride evident in her social presence. She is a perfect fit for any team needing a catcher who elevates defense, drives intensity, and thrives in winning environments, with no reported injury history hindering her rapid rise.
