Davoun Fuse brings rare size to Rutgers’ secondary
Davoun Fuse is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound senior defensive back for Rutgers in the 2026 season, and that frame alone makes him stand out in a college secondary built on speed and angles. He has only modest on-field production in the available stats, so the appeal is more about upside: length, physicality, and matchup versatility. The big question is fit and health—he has appeared on availability reports before, so durability matters. If Rutgers wants a bigger, more imposing DB who can help against physical passing games, Fuse is the kind of low-key, high-ceiling piece that can quietly matter.
