Isaiah Burnett brings veteran, two-way edge to Stonehill's backcourt
Isaiah Burnett is a 6-foot-5 veteran guard whose calling card has been disruptive defense, rebounding from the perimeter, and timely scoring; in the 2022-23 season he led Stonehill with 74 steals, ranked second in the NEC at 2.8 steals per game, and was praised for athleticism, wingspan, and anticipatory instincts that make him a headache for opposing offenses. He also showed real all-around value, including a 30-point game against Holy Cross in 2022 and a 7.5 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 1.8 APG profile on ESPN in later stat tracking, so he fits best for a team that wants a tough, high-motor guard who can tilt possessions without needing the ball every trip.
