Greyson Zach brings size, projectable arm talent, and two-way juice to Minnesota
Greyson Zach enters the 2026 season as a freshman right-hander with real upside for Minnesota: he’s 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, throws a fastball up to 90 mph, and pairs it with a swing-and-miss slider. Minnesota’s staff specifically called out his size, athleticism, and projectability, noting they expect him to contribute based on what he has already shown. In 2025 high school action, he also flashed as a two-way player, posting a 1.52 ERA over 60 innings and hitting .352 with 22 RBIs, which makes him an intriguing fit for a program that values competitive, versatile arms.
