Will Bartoli gives LIU depth behind the plate with true utility value
Will Bartoli is a freshman catcher/utility piece for LIU in the 2026 season, giving the Sharks roster flexibility and emergency coverage at multiple spots. His value is less about flash and more about adaptability: that catcher/UTL label is the kind of bench insurance coaches love, especially in a grind-it-out college baseball schedule. Public stats available for 2026 do not show a full offensive breakout yet, but his profile suggests a player built for toughness, versatility, and spot-duty reliability rather than headline numbers.
