James Peterson has become Alabama State’s go-to right-hander in 2026
In the 2026 season, James Peterson has been a steady impact arm for Alabama State, working as both a starter and high-leverage reliever and finishing with a 7-1 record and a 3.32 ERA in regional play, with multiple strong outings in SWAC wins and the championship run. He stands out for his durability, strike-throwing ability, and poise in pressure spots—he’s the kind of pitcher who settles games down rather than just survives them. If you want a reliable RHP who can handle big innings and compete, he fits the bill.
