veteran right-hander with strikeout juice and starter flexibility for Binghamton
In the 2026 season, Dan McAliney is a senior right-handed pitcher for Binghamton who has already been used as both a starter and a reliever, including a season-opening win over High Point and a reported 0.00 ERA start against St. Bonaventure in March. He was an America East All-Rookie Team selection in 2023, showed swing-and-miss upside with 23 strikeouts in 27 innings that year, and his background profile points to a 6-foot-5 frame and a four-pitch mix that gives him real projection. He looks like a good fit if a staff wants experience, strike-throwing potential, and a low-drama competitor who’s been tested in multiple roles.
