versatile La Sierra guard with size and flashes of production
Samuel Bazunga is a junior guard for La Sierra in the 2024-25 season who brings uncommon length and a utility-player feel to the Golden Eagles’ rotation, listed at 6'7" on the roster and 6'7"/ATH on team and ESPN pages.[3][4][6] In the 2024-25 season, his early stat line was modest — 4 games, 4.3 minutes, 0.5 points and 1.0 rebound per game — but he showed a useful no-fuss profile with a steady defensive/rebounding baseline rather than high-usage shot creation.[1] If you want a big guard who can defend multiple spots, rebound, and grow into a more impactful role, Bazunga is the kind of under-the-radar piece that can quietly matter once his minutes climb.[1][3][4]
