Shanko Kornachuk is a fast, violent one-cut back with real upside at Montana State
In the 2025 season, Shanko Kornachuk redshirted and did not record stats, but Montana State’s staff described him as a “slasher” with good speed at the second and third level and a violent one-cut-and-go style. He entered the program after earning 2nd Team All-6A-5 Three Rivers League honors at running back and showed burst in track, posting a 11.39 100m and 43-6.5 triple jump in high school. At 5-11, 180, he looks like a developmental fit for a run-heavy team that values quick decisions, acceleration, and physical finishing.
