Notre Dame’s Graduate Forward with Legacy Intensity and 6-7 Versatility
Austin Torres, a 6-7 graduate student forward for Notre Dame (2016-17 season), stands out not just for his size but for his deep family legacy—both parents are Notre Dame alumni—and his elite intensity as a graduate player leading with purpose. Unlike typical freshmen, Torres brings maturity, defensive versatility, and a high-intensity mindset that translates to clutch performances. His MBA Select background with Demetrius Jackson (Notre Dame 2013 PG) highlights his elite teammate network and basketball IQ. While no major injury history is recorded, his graduate status signals resilience and commitment. He’s a perfect fit for teams needing a reliable, versatile forward who plays with heart, legacy pride, and consistent defensive pressure.
