Big West bruiser who packed scoring, rebounding, and free-throw pressure into one forward package
In Gabe Levin’s Long Beach State run, his calling card was clear: a strong, physical forward who could score inside and out, crash the glass, and live at the foul line. In the 2017-18 season, he was a First-Team All-Big West type of engine, including a 45-point outburst that tied a school single-game scoring record and set Big West free-throw records, while also ranking among the conference leaders in scoring and rebounding. The extra wrinkle? He also overcame an injury-shortened season earlier in his Beach career, which makes his production and toughness stand out even more.
