Matt McIntire is New Haven’s left-handed power bat and a record-setter at first base
In the 2026 season, McIntire has been one of New Haven’s most dangerous middle-order bats, hitting .271 with 7 home runs and 28 RBI while ranking second on the team in batting average and home runs. He also tied the program’s all-time home run record with his 29th career blast on May 12, 2026, which screams legit game-changing power. What makes him attractive: proven pop, clutch-hit résumé, and the kind of corner-infield profile that can change a lineup fast. If your team wants a bat-first infielder who brings thump and momentum, he fits the bill. [1][2][5][12]
