Sage Stout brings starter-to-relief versatility, but command is the swing skill
In the 2026 season, Southern Indiana right-hander Sage Stout has been used in multiple roles and has shown he can miss bats, but the stat line has been uneven: he’s been hit hard at times, with a 13.50 ERA in limited 2026 work after posting a 7.65 ERA in 2025. The upside is the frame and live-arm look at 6-foot-3, plus proven strikeout ability in summer ball and flashes like a season-high four-strikeout outing in a 2025 shutout win. He looks like a development arm with real upside, especially if your staff can sharpen his consistency and strike-throwing.
