Luke Caucci brings versatile, gritty left-side pop to Lafayette’s lineup
In the 2026 season, Luke Caucci has given Lafayette a useful multi-position bat with steady contact, gap power, and sneaky toughness: he hit .255 with 14 hits, 8 RBIs, 1 home run, and 2 stolen bases across 29 games, while also showing he can move around the field as a UTL piece. He’s the kind of player coaches like because he competes, creates pressure on the bases, and has delivered in key spots — including a three-RBI game against Saint Peter’s. His value is less about flashy tools and more about dependable versatility, baseball IQ, and being the guy who keeps innings alive.
