Maggie Frisvold brings power-in-the-circle upside and clutch two-way value for UMBC
In the 2026 season, Frisvold has flashed real impact as a P/UT for UMBC, highlighted by a complete-game shutout with 11 strikeouts and a stretch that earned her America East Pitcher of the Week honors. She profiles as a tough, competitive starter who can miss bats, work deep into games, and help herself at the plate; that dual-threat flexibility is the kind of roster glue coaches love. The stat line has been uneven at times, but the ceiling is clear: when her command is synced, she looks like a game-changing fit.
