Jackson Sobel is flashing real strikeout upside as a lefty starter
Sobel has been a summer-ball standout for Kenosha, including a 10-strikeout, 6.2-inning scoreless outing and a complete-game gem, showing the kind of bat-missing left-handed profile that can travel in the SEC. He looks like a power-leaning strike-thrower who can work deep into games and keep the ball off barrels, which makes him more than just a matchup arm. With Missouri, the appeal is upside: if his command holds, he fits as a high-leverage starter candidate rather than a replaceable bullpen piece.
