Tyler Minnick brings power, polish, and captain energy behind the plate
In the 2026 season, Tyler Minnick was a full-time anchor for Middle Tennessee, starting all 55 games and hitting .302 with 9 home runs, 41 RBI, and 21 extra-base hits, while D1Baseball ranked him No. 25 nationally among catchers and No. 2 in Conference USA. Beyond the numbers, he stood out as a senior captain, a disciplined transfer who earned praise for his consistency, leadership, and all-day reliability. That’s the kind of catcher you want if you value maturity, pop, and a steady presence running a staff.
