Sam Pitts brings lefty depth to UIW, but 2026 production is still unproven
Sam Pitts is a junior left-handed pitcher on the 2026 Incarnate Word roster, but publicly available UIW roster data does not show season statistics for him yet[1][2]. The main takeaway: he has the build and handedness coaches love for matchup value, but there is no verified 2026 stat line to lean on yet[1][2]. If you need a live-impact arm with proven current production, the evidence is still thin; if you’re looking for upside and roster flexibility, a lefty like Pitts is exactly the kind of low-profile bullpen piece that can quietly become useful[1][2].
