High-Yield RB Dismissed from Texas State After Arrest
Greg Burrell, a 6-1, 217-lb sophomore RB from Las Vegas, was a high-impact differentiator for Texas State with a 6.7 yards-per-carry average (11th nationally) and 671 rushing yards in the 2025 season, but he is no longer a viable fit for any team due to his dismissal from the program following a felony arrest in early 2026. While his explosive burst and ability to generate big plays off the bench were clear strengths, his intensity is now overshadowed by significant off-field risk, making him unavailable despite his statistical potential as a former UNLV transfer who briefly entered the portal before recommitting.
