Kent State’s high-contact, extra-base threat with tournament juice
In the 2025 season, Covas hit .357 with 41 hits, 8 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homers, 29 RBIs, and a perfect 13-for-13 on stolen bases, and he backed that up in 2026 by staying a middle-order spark for Kent State. He’s a 6-foot-3, right-handed outfielder who brings bat-to-ball skill, speed, and gap power, and he showed big-stage composure by hitting .462 in the 2026 MAC Tournament with a homer and a 4-for-4 breakout against Western Michigan. If your team wants a polished, competitive left-field bat with production and some sneaky pop, he fits.
