Mercer’s Dalton Biggs brings late-inning bite and strike-throwing polish
In the 2026 season, Dalton Biggs looks like a dependable Mercer right-hander with a real bullpen identity: he transferred in after being one of the best closers in the Panhandle Conference, posted a 5-1 record with a 3.79 ERA in his previous college season, and showed swing-and-miss ability with strong strikeout numbers and limited walks. He’s a 6-foot-4 power arm who also earned a Gold Glove award on the mound, which hints at athleticism and poise, not just velocity. If you want a strike-thrower who can handle leverage, Biggs is the kind of fit that plays in big moments.
