Sam Thomas brings multi-sport power and developmental upside to UNI’s offensive line
Sam Thomas is a 6-foot-6, 280-pound UNI offensive lineman from Elkhorn, Neb., and the kind of trench prospect coaches love to mold: big frame, strong athletic background, and room to keep climbing. In 2024, he appeared in one game and earned MVFC Honor Roll recognition, while UNI also notes he competes in track and field and majors in construction management—good signs for work ethic and coordination. He was originally signed as a notable in-state lineman with all-state pedigree, so the appeal here is size, versatility, and a high-floor developmental profile rather than a loaded stat line.
