Tarique Foster is flashing two-way upside for Albany
Foster, a 6-8 junior forward, gives Albany length, spacing, and switchability, and the staff specifically values his ability to create mismatches and guard multiple spots. In the 2025-26 season, he’s been a useful frontcourt piece who can heat up as a shooter—he hit 5-of-6 from three for 17 points against UMBC and posted 12 points and 7 rebounds in a January win over Binghamton. The big question is consistency, not talent: if he keeps bringing energy and knocking down open looks, he fits a modern, versatile roster very well.
