Devocio Butler brings veteran forward grit and shot-making pop to Texas Southern
Devocio Butler is a seasoned 6-foot-5 forward who has shown he can score efficiently in bursts, including a 19-point, three-triple game for Colorado State in the 2016 season and a 17-point outing for Texas Southern in the 2018-19 season[1][12]. His value is the combo package: physical wing-forward size, older-player savvy, and enough shooting touch to stretch defenses, which makes him more than a box-score name[1][7]. If a team wants toughness, maturity, and a player who can slot into multiple frontcourt roles, Butler is the kind of fit that quietly makes a roster better.
