Melissa Purcella brings contact, speed, and clutch pop to Rider’s infield/outfield mix
Melissa Purcella is a versatile Rider Broncs piece in the 2026 season, showing a knack for making things happen without needing a loud stat line. Her profile and game logs point to a multi-tool skill set: she can play middle infield or outfield, run the bases, and deliver timely offense, including a grand slam on April 7, 2026. She also brings strong prep pedigree and competitive edge from Albuquerque Academy. If you want a high-motor, adaptable player who can pressure defenses and fit multiple roles, she’s worth a serious look.
