Valpo’s Freshman LB Will Jackson brings run-stopping size and a clean developmental upside
Will Jackson is a 6-foot, 225-pound freshman linebacker for Valparaiso in the 2026 season, and that frame already hints at a potential downhill, physical fit in the middle of a defense. The most notable takeaway from available roster and player listings is that he’s early in his college career, so the appeal is projection: if he plays to his build, he could become a dependable tackle-and-disrupt piece. Right now, he looks like a developmental defender worth tracking rather than a finished product—good size, fresh legs, and room to grow into a bigger role.
