Huge-frame Fordham OL still early in his development
A 6-foot-8, 226-pound sophomore out of Vermont, Shaymus Willette is a long-term upside play for Fordham rather than a finished product yet. Fordham’s roster and player pages show he did not see action as a freshman in 2024 and is listed as an active sophomore in 2025, which fits the profile of a developmental tackle with rare length and room to add mass. The appeal is obvious: tackle-friendly size, an All-State background, and championship experience at Burr and Burton Academy. He looks like a fit for a program willing to invest patience in projection.
