Caleb Hadley brings power upside and catcher toughness to YSU
Hadley is a physical 6-foot-2, 215-pound right-handed catcher who arrived at Youngstown State with a strong prep résumé and immediate pop: as a freshman in 2025, he hit .265 with a .485 slugging percentage, 3 home runs, 6 doubles, and 15 RBIs in 24 starts. In 2026, his role was limited by injury, but his profile still stands out for run-producing upside, athleticism, and two-way toughness from a football background. If your team wants a catcher with early offensive thump and grit, he’s worth a serious look—though the 2026 injury-affected season adds a little caution.
