KJ Buffen brings switchable size, rebounding, and reliable two-way production
Buffen is a proven 6-foot-7 forward whose calling card is impact beyond the box score: he rebounds, defends, and produces double-doubles with physical energy. At UAB in the 2022-23 season, he averaged 10.6 points and 6.7 rebounds, started 38 of 39 games, and posted six double-doubles, showing he can handle a major role against strong competition. His later pro stops suggest a versatile, all-around forward who can score efficiently, create extra possessions, and bring toughness—useful for a team that wants instant maturity and interior consistency.
