Ethan McNish-Heider gives Niagara a big-frame, strikeout-minded righty with upside
In the 2025 season, Ethan McNish-Heider showed useful depth value for Niagara, appearing in eight games and striking out eight batters in 6.1 innings, while his 2026 roster profile lists him as a 6-foot-4 redshirt junior right-hander. He’s a physical arm with a live pitchability profile—good enough to get swings and misses, with past experience from Grossmont and Victoria HarbourCats suggesting he’s seen a lot of competitive innings. He looks like a smart fit for a staff that wants length, mound toughness, and developmental upside.
