St. Bonaventure's Lauren Dundon: A Defensive Anchor with Atlantic 10 Honor Roll Pedigree
Lauren Dundon, a versatile 2B/3B for St. Bonaventure, stands out as a **defensive stabilizer** who earned the **2025 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll** as a freshman after appearing in 30 games [4]. While the 2026 team struggled overall (9-44), Dundon remains a **high-intensity, reliable presence** in the infield, known for her **consistent game availability** and **smart base advancement** (e.g., advancing to third on a single in April 2026) [1][3]. Her differentiator is **durability and defensive versatility**; she fills critical gaps at both second and third without missing beats, making her a **low-risk, high-value fit** for teams needing a steady infielder who brings **freshman-year accolades** and **proven resilience** [4]. No major injury history is noted, and her **freshman intensity** suggests she will continue to grow into a key contributor [4].
