Trent Koehler brings a live arm and two-way athleticism to SIUE
Koehler is a 5'10", 200-pound right-handed pitcher with a strong athletic base, and his amateur profile shows standout tools that can translate well on the mound, including a 93 mph infield velo, a 91.6 mph exit velocity, and 6.85 speed indicators from Prep Baseball Report[1]. At SIU Edwardsville in 2026, he has been used as a junior RHP and has struggled statistically so far with an 11.57 ERA over limited early-season work, but his background as a multi-sport athlete and all-around competitor suggests upside if the staff can harness his stuff and command[3][2].
