Alissa Snipes brings tough-pitcher upside, but command is the swing skill for ACU
In the 2026 season, ACU freshman RHP Alissa Snipes logged 44.2 innings across 19 appearances with 11 starts, including a complete-game, 7-inning shutout in a 7-0 win at Tarleton State, which shows real swing-and-miss-at-the-right-time potential and poise in a big spot. Her stat line also flags the developmental edge: 20 strikeouts against 45 walks, so her ceiling is tied to sharpening command and consistency. At 5-foot-8 and already trusted in the circle after an early-season injury, she looks like a high-upside arm worth betting on if you can tolerate some freshman volatility.
