Quiet-but-effective WKU lefty with early results and upside
Petricca is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound redshirt freshman left-hander for Western Kentucky who has already shown he can miss bats and keep traffic off the bases, posting a 0.00 ERA in limited 2026 action and drawing attention as a former No. 3 LHP in Tennessee. His value is the classic southpaw mix: matchup flexibility, strike-throwing potential, and enough polish to factor into leverage innings if he stays healthy and keeps building volume. For a staff looking for a durable, high-upside lefty with a strong prep track record, he fits the profile.
