Richmond’s Evan Wilson brings two-way versatility and a proven four-year starter profile
Evan Wilson looks like a useful depth add because he profiles as a **right-handed pitcher/infielder** with a long track record of playing and contributing at a high level, including being a four-year starter in high school and earning two-time First Team All honors before joining Richmond. That kind of versatility matters: he can cover multiple roles, which gives a staff flexibility and usually signals competitiveness and coach trust. Publicly available recruiting info suggests his game is built more on adaptability and baseball IQ than headline numbers, so he fits best as a reliable, multi-use piece rather than a pure stat-sheet star.
