High-IQ W&M Creator Who Drives the Offense
Nelson is a proven floor general for William & Mary, highlighted by a 2022-23 season in which he led the Tribe in scoring (11.2 points per game) and piled up 143 assists, the fifth-most in a single season in program history.[1] He brings real value as a lead guard because he combines shot creation with distribution, and his 2022-23 profile also showed efficient perimeter scoring, including a .463 3-point percentage while leading the team in assists and minutes.[2] If you want a smart, steady guard who can organize an offense and stretch defenses, he fits.
