Jax Howard brings two-way backcourt juice to Middle Tennessee
Howard is a 6-foot-0 guard who arrived at Middle Tennessee after a strong high-school run at The Webb School, where he averaged 16.4 points, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals in 2024-25 and ranked top-12 in Tennessee in at least one stat category.[2][5] The appeal is his blend of scoring, ball pressure and playmaking rather than pure size: he can create offense, defend the point of attack and play with pace. At this stage, he looks like a fit for teams wanting an energetic, disruptive guard with upward mobility, though his college impact is still largely projection because current game logs are limited.[1][11]
